Heating Installs for Energy Assistance Package

The contract is for same day installation of gas central heating systems in occupied residences for Warm Deal and Energy Assistance Packages.

BRB arrange suitable appointments directly with tenants for the same day replacement or brand new heating installations. To provide complete reassurance to tenants all heating engineers are subject to Basic Disclosure Scotland, carry Gas Safe ID cards and wear BRB staff uniforms as standard.

Inspections are carried out in advance of work commencing, during which initial surveys for radiators and boilers are carried out, and the bulk of the materials are then supplied by Scottish Gas. Regular progress meetings are held and there is regular liaison between BRB and Scottish Gas senior management. After the install our heating engineer explains to the tenant how to work the heating system and this is then re-explained during both quality checks. BRB carries out a quality control check which is then passed to Scottish Gas which carry out a further 100% quality control check.

We have successfully carried out installations to approximately 600-700 houses annually since 2006.
